surichan. Being the avid consumer and reviewer of film that I am, I've decided to use this journal as a repository for my film reviews, both new and old. I'm not the type of reviewer who usually goes into the plot of the film I'm reviewing, so if you don't have a basic working knowledge of a film's plot and you read one of my reviews, you're probably not gonna get a very good idea of what the film is supposed to be about - but that's not my problem. I just say what I think of the films; if you wanna know what they're about, look them up on the Internet Movie Database.
I don't claim to be the best critic around, but I do think I have pretty good taste - but by all means, feel free to tell me if you disagree with any of my opinions. The only thing I love more than watching a movie and reviewing it is discussing it with someone.
My rating system works as follows: I don't rate films according to how good they are, I rate them according to "moofs" - that is, complaints, bitchings, whathaveyou, that I have with the film. A movie I find to be next to godliness will recieve 0 Moofs. A movie I hate so much that it gives me an aneurism to even think about it will recieve 5 Moofs. Everything else falls somewhere in-between.
